Online booking terms
- An online booking covers a set time slot: half day (morning 8:00 – 13:00 or afternoon 13:30 – 18:30), a 12-hour full day starting in the morning, or one or more 24-hour periods.
- Prices shown include VAT. The kilometres included depend on the option chosen. Extra kilometres can be added when booking in packs of 100 km for €25; at return, each kilometre beyond the planned kilometres is charged €0.30. Moving hand truck option: €10 per rental.
- The booking is confirmed once the deposit shown at checkout has been paid online. The balance is paid when you pick up the van.
- The slot is held for 35 minutes during payment. If payment is not made within that time, it is released automatically.
- The deposit is non-refundable. If the customer cancels, however far in advance, or does not come to pick up the van, L'Auto Gexoise keeps the deposit.
- Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to vehicle rental services provided on a set date or at a set frequency.
- The rental terms (insurance, damage, use, fuel) are set out on the home page and apply to every booking.
Payment
Online payments are processed by SumUp on its secure page. L'Auto Gexoise never has access to your card details.
Personal data
The information you enter when booking or contacting us (first name, last name, phone, email, message) is only used to manage your rental and reply to you. It is never sold or passed on. When the van is handed over, a copy of the driving licence and ID is kept with the rental agreement; each copy is marked “Copy reserved for L’Auto Gexoise” with the rental reference. It is kept for as long as needed to manage the rental and meet accounting obligations.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to lautogexoise@outlook.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Cookies
The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser only keeps, locally, the reference of a booking awaiting payment. The Google Maps map is only loaded if you click “Show the map”.
